John died following diagnosis of mesothelioma a year ago. This incurable cancer caused by asbestos exposure mainly affects people who work in the building trade or education (John worked in both). He chose this charity as the one he wanted to benefit following his death. This organisation supports people and their families at diagnosis and ongoing. It also funds important research into a cancer where little progress on treatments has been made thus far. Thank you for making a donation in his memory.
